How to plan your 3-days holiday in Singapore? Day 3

Today is the last day in Singapore. Let’s have a relaxing day.

Day 3: Street Food, Museums, and Indoor Gardens

China Town ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Kele Singapore Pineapple Tart or Ball Skyline Souvenir Box

Go to Kele Singapore (2 Smith Street) to redeem your free box of Pineapple Tarts or Balls.

In Chinatown, you can also buy fruits such as Durian, Mangosteen, and Watermelon.

1 Michelin Star Chicken- Hawker Chan

Because the reputation goes around the globe, now you can find Hawker Chan around places like Hong Kong, even in Australia. But try to get it from its original place, China Town in Singapore.

This place is famous for its Hainanese chicken rice. The places opens at 10:30 am. So go there to have some lunch. But don’t order too much. Save some space for the next stop.

Maxwell Food Centre ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

You have seen this food court in many movies filmed in Singapore. I hope we have spent more time here. Maxwell Food Centre is a shared place with a wide variety of street food. Because the table is difficult to get during lunchtime, one person can go to order food; the other can look after the table. Then order in turns.

6 Best Stalls at Maxwell Food Centre

After lunch, you can go to visit some Museums. But keep an eye on time. This afternoon time will be swift. You can skip one or two if time is tight. You will need to redeem the ticket at the reception of the museum.

National Museum of Singapore ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Highlight: I learned lots of history about Singapore.

National Gallery Singapore⭐️⭐️

Asian Civilisations Museum ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Best Museum in Singapore.

Take photos with Merlion.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Art and Science Museum(optional) ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Only do this when you have time. It talks a long time to enjoy it, and it is not included in the Go City pass. But this Museum is fun and worth it. It is under Marinabay Sands Hotel. There has many shopping areas and cafes under the Marinabay Sands Hotel. There also has an indoor river and boats there.

Let’s go the enjoy some indoor gardens. And there has three.

When you redeem your ticket at the Gardens by the Bay reception, remember to purchase a return transportation ticket to Floral Fantasy. It is like $4 for return tickets per person, which is not included in the Go City Pass. Floral Fantasy Garden closes the earliest, so go there first.

Floral Fantasy ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This is an instgramable place to visit as it has many beautiful flower decorations.

Flower Dome ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This is my favourite Garden by the Bay. Because in this greenhouse building, there has different buildings and settings. The flowers blend accordingly. There have those Holland Windmills, Italian Windows, Mushroom houses and lots and lots of roses. It looks like the seasons change the flowers and settings because I cannot find the image on the internet like what I saw. It is a beautiful place to visit.

Cloud Forest ft. Avatar Experience ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Singapore’s landscape is flat and has no mountains. So the Singapore government has built a forest in the greenhouse. I believe the cloud forest used to be just forest views. But Avatar has collaborated with them currently. So this place became Avatar themed. If you enjoy the Avatar film, you will enjoy this Garden. I am a bit overwhelmed by those intense colours on plants. But you can see through the glass house and the city by night.

You must be really tired by this time.

But go to the last stop for a boat trip to see the night view and enjoy a good dinner by the river. You can take a rest on the boat.

Singapore River Cruise ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Redeem your pass(es) at the Clarke Quay Jetty ticketing counter. Availability is on a first-come-first-served basis. For more information, visit the Singapore River Cruise website.

I like night river cruises more than daytime because you can see the buildings and city in a different view.

Transfer from Marinabay to Clarke Quay via BRT. The last Singapore River Cruise is at 10 pm. So I suggest going there before 9 pm and taking an early one. Then go to Clarke Quay and have a good dinner around 10 pm.

As you don’t need to do anything on the boat ride. So take a break and enjoy the breeze and views.

Jumbo Seafood Restaurant ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Founded in 1987, Jumbo Seafood has become a household name serving one of Singapore’s best Chilli Crabs and Black Pepper Crabs.

Chilli Crabs are like a national signature dish of Singapore. So nothing can compete to end a trip with a good dinner that can represent Singapore.

Jumbo Seafood is a chain restaurant with many locations. This one is close to Clarke Quay, about 5-minute walk from the arrival point of the boat ride.

When you order the Spicy Crab, you must order the buns. Those buns to Spciy Crab are like the bread to seafood chowder. Although it is called Spicy Crab, it is not that Spicy. It is pepper and tomato based taste like some fresh cuisines.

After dinner, you can walk from Clarke Quay to the BRT station. Then take a BRT train or use Grab to call a car back to the hotel.

I hope you enjoy the trip and have a great holiday!
