I hope you had a good rest. Today, let's have fun! Sentosa is a happy island.

Day 1: Sentosa and Universal Studios

Take a bus to the point that takes the Singapore Cable Car to Sentosa.

Singapore Cable Car ⭐️⭐️⭐️

The Cable Car round tickets are included in Go City Pass. Just show them the QR code. Recently, they decorated the cable car as Pokemon balls. The view is fantastic. This is not scary, and you have 360° views of the city. This Cable Car will take you to Sentosa Island, and you can walk to Universal Studios. It is like 10-15 minutes walk.

Universal Studios ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Singapore Universal Studios is called the smallest Universal Studios in the world. However, this means you don't need to walk that far to go to different rides, and you will be able to have more time to enjoy the park.

Tips: 1. The operating time of Universal Studios is 11 am-6 pm. So be there a bit earlier. Go to Customer Service Window to redeem the ticket. The Customer Service Window is located not far from the global.

2. Install Singapore Universal Studio App on your phone. You can check the waiting time for each ride in real-time.

3. Start the visit Clockwise from Far Far Away. Most people, especially parents with kids, will start from Hollywood and New York. Those places have many souvenirs and gift shops, and kids are crazy about those. You can do this later because finishing the rides earlier will save you time for souvenirs and gifts.

4. If you want to skip the waiting and get the rides as fast as possible, purchase those Universal Studio Passes. These passes enable you to skip the queues. I believe one type of pass that enables you to skip specific queues. And the other pass enables you to skip all the queues with a more expensive additional cost.

We did not purchase the passes, so we didn't have enough time to go to a few rides we least liked. If you want to experience all the rides, maybe purchase the least expensive ride pass and utilize the power of it.

5. Use the single-person queue. We realize a single-person queue exists for people who visit the part alone. And this queue is always faster than the normal ones. So if you and your friend do not mind not sitting together to go through the rides, you can choose a single-person queue to avoid the waiting time. The waiting time is annoying sometimes, like it takes 1 hour to wait for a ride.

6. Enjoy a good meal in the park. They sell the roasted turkey leg in the food court.

Must Go Rides (From best to lowest):

Jurassic Park > Revenge of the Mummy > Puss In Boots' Giant Journey > Enchanted Airways > Lights, Camera, Action! Hosted by Steven Spielberg> Shrek 4-D Adventure

As you know, Universal Studios only opens for 7 hours, so rides must queue for over 50 minutes. So it is really hard to complete the ride if you do not have a strategy.

Dinner by the Sea and Enjoy the Sunset ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The Singapore Universal Studios closed at 6 pm, and the next attraction started at 7:40 pm. So there has one and a half hours to enjoy dinner. Take the free Sentosa Express (from Resorts World Station to Beach Station). Go to the ticket office for Wings of Time and redeem the ticket for later.

Go to the restaurant/cafe at the beachside and sit down beside the table under the cocknut trees. Enjoy dinner and have some drinks with the sunset view. Have a peaceful and relaxing evening.

I forgot the bar and restaurant we went to. It must be close to this one.

Wings of Time ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Be amazed by lasers, fireworks, and water in this award-winning outdoor night show. This exciting spectacle centres around the tale of Shahbaz, a pre-historic bird, and his friends Rachel and Felix, as they travel through time to get Shahbaz home.

It is a light and firework show. You will be amazed by the lights, fireworks and music.

Let's call it a night.

Take the free Sentosa Express to the main island (from Beach Station to VivoCity Station). The VovoCity is a big mall. There has many food court there. And can also go there do some shopping. Then take MRT back to your hotel.
